Preparedness Policy and Doctrine
The Canmore team has a wealth of experience in preparedness policy and doctrine development and understands the basis they provide for driving priorities and investment. Our experience includes leading and supporting policy and doctrine efforts at the state, national, and international levels, with particular experience with U.S. preparedness efforts, including: Presidential Policy Directives and Executive Orders; the National Preparedness Goal and System; the National Incident Management System; Comprehensive Preparedness Guides; and the Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment process.
Planning
Our team supports strategic and operational planning for all-hazards. We will help with organizing stakeholders, facilitating the planning process, plan development, and implementation. We have a broad experience in emergency planning across all levels of government and particular experience with the five U.S. National Planning Frameworks (Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery); Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear preparedness planning; Continuity of Operations and Continuity of Government planning; and special event/ mass gathering planning.
Continuity of Operations and Government
We recognize the critical importance of continuity planning. We have particular experience working on continuity programs at state, national, and international levels, to include continuity policy development, planning, and exercising. We understand what constitutes a viable continuity program, with key elements including: Continuity Policy and Program Management; Essential Functions (e.g., National Essential Functions and Mission Essential Functions); Orders of Succession; and Continuity Facilities and Communications. We'll serve as a valuable extension of your continuity team.
Exercises
At Canmore, we offer a variety of preparedness exercise services. From planning and conduct support through evaluation and improvement planning; Canmore has you covered. Our team has a great range and depth of exercise experience across all levels of government and all hazards, including natural disasters, CBRN, and international crises. Our exercise team includes U.S. Master Exercise Practitioners and key partners for tailored technical support; we're well positioned to provide: discussion-based exercises (workshops, tabletops, and seminars); Operations-based exercises (operations center, full scale); exercise documentation, and facilitation services.
